Large gardens for learning through play.

A large, safe and secure garden area

Large Garden
Babies, todders and pre-schoolers have access to this large garden. The garden is split into lots of exciting areas. Some examples include, a mud kitchen, water walls, digging areas (sand and mud), mini beast hunt trails and a canopy area with seating for picnics.

Medium Garden
We have a slightly smaller garden for when the children would like a change. This garden is set up differently. It has a herb garden, and focuses on numeracy in the outdoors.

Baby Garden
The baby garden is a connects to the baby unit creating a lovely free flow outdoors space. The babies enjoy playing in their own mini mud kitchen and take part in music outside.

Allotments
Our friendly groundskeeper takes great pride in maintaining the children's planted produce. This is grown and picked by the children then cooked by our chef. Recently the children very much enjoyed growing and picking their own green beans.

We provide sun-cream at our nursery during the warmer weather.
During the colder weather we encourage the children to bring in wellingtons as they love playing in the snow and puddles.
We always encourage children to experience all weather conditions.
We have a vast amount of outdoor space and we encourage the children to take part in physical exercise such as dancing, football, yoga, pilates and bat and ball skills.

A fantastic learning zone

The great outdoors are used as another learning zone. Many traditionally 'inside activities' are conducted outside. Sun-cream is provided to at our nursery. Children enjoy the outdoors with teddy bears picnics and cool drinks in good weather.

Play time in the colder weather

During the colder weather children can also bring in wellingtons and play in the snow and puddles. We encourage children at our nursery to experience all weather conditions. They take part in physical exercises such as dancing, football, yoga and bat and ball skills.
